La Pedalada Barcelona-Sitges is a yearly cycling event over closed roads from Barcelona to Sitges. It is no race, sportive or anything close to competitive or fast. The objective of the day is to raise awareness for cyclist safety.
Cuesta is joining the Barcelona Road Cycling Group at Plaça España from 8am for a coffee at Buenas Migas. Corner of Hotel Catalonia at Plaça España. From there we will leave at 8:30am for the 23km ride to the start in Castelldefels at 9:30am.
After arriving to Sitges everyone can decide how they arrive back home, could be by train, cycling back or perhaps you want to spend the rest of the day in Sitges. For those who would like to continue a bit further we have planned a route through Parc del Garraf arraving to Barcelona around 2pm.

La diada Montserratina is a yearly road cycling event organised by the Catalan cycling federation (FCC) and one of the last cycling events of the season. All cycling clubs in Catalunya are invited to join and climb to the monastery of Monserrat. There is no need to register or pay an entry fee, just climb with your bike to the Monastery. The main climb from Monistrol up to the monastery will be closed to traffic from 8:30am to 9:15am. After arriving to the summit every cyclist can collect a small commemorative pin provided by the FCC. At 9:45am the father rector of the Montserrat monastery will give blessing at the Mirador de los Apóstoles.
